On April 7, 2023, Akerna Corp., a Delaware corporation (“Akerna”), issued a press release regarding the termination of Akerna’s previously announced purchase agreement with POSaBIT Systems Corporation and entering into negotiations with a confidential third party regarding acqusition of Akerna’s software business pursuant to a superior acquisition proposal.
